A 30 minute film I made about my friend Yurik who came to this country as a refugee from Armenia. When he fled the country his wife and two boys were obliged to go elsewhere ending up in BarcelonaThis is the story of a family torn apart by their refugee status and the heartbreaking impact it has had on all their lives. Edited by the great Keith Wright and shot by Andy Lee and Mike Sanders. I am indebted to them for the time and skills they donated to the film. I make films about refugee's because they tell us a great deal about the human spirit and a little about ourselves. We should be humbled by what we learn.
