Tim Langford originated the idea, wrote the script and directed Stephen Fry for Sky tv and BAFTA promo that was screened on tv and by the Odeon cinema chain, to promote the awards featuring Stephen Fry. Filming involved a gruelling all night 35mm shoot with a crew of 40 in Screen One, the Odeon Leicester Square. Stephen was a trooper and an absolute darling and joy to work with. The film is a bit old now but I'm proud that Stephen didn't change one single word of my script.
